Funding for coastal community projects

PRESS RELEASE

The North Devon Coast AONB’s Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) is open now to grant applications for innovative community projects for 2017/18.  This fund is managed by the North Devon Coast AONB on behalf of Defra as the unique qualities of our stunning coast are recognised as a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  We hope to help fund new projects or initiatives with individuals, groups, organisations or businesses with projects which will benefit, enhance or promote the natural beauty, wildlife, heritage of our special landscape area. This year, we want to focus on funding projects related to Health & Wellbeing and Historic Environment although we would welcome other types of project.
