PLANTLIFE

This course is for people who are interested in developing bryophyte identification skills with a view to contributing to local bryophyte monitoring. This is a 2-day course led by an expert tutor and will be held on Dartmoor. You are expected to attend both days. Both days will have indoor and outdoor elements and a combination of presentations and activities. We will provide all equipment needed.

The course will give you a solid foundation to progress on to the advanced course if you wish to pursue further training. We are able to offer this for free as it is part of the Building Resilience in South West Woodlands project which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

We expect a high level of demand for this course and we will prioritise people who are living/working in the project area and those who have an interest in progressing on to the advanced course and contributing to local bryophyte monitoring.
